Job Responsibilities
As an auto transport sales agent, your responsibilities include:

1. Generating leads: Actively seeking out potential customers who require vehicle transport services through various channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and referrals.

2. Building client relationships: Establishing rapport with customers to understand their specific transport needs and providing personalized solutions that meet their requirements.

3. Providing information: Educating customers about the auto transport process, including pricing, shipping options, insurance coverage, and delivery timelines.

4. Quoting prices: Calculating and presenting accurate price quotes based on factors such as distance, vehicle type, shipping method, and additional services.

5. Negotiating contracts: Collaborating with customers to finalize transportation agreements, ensuring all terms and conditions are clearly communicated and agreed upon.

6. Coordinating logistics: Liaising between customers and carriers to schedule vehicle pickups, deliveries, and transit routes, ensuring smooth coordination throughout the transportation process.

7. Resolving issues: Addressing any customer concerns or issues that may arise during transit, including delays, damages, or changes to delivery schedules, and providing timely solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

8. Documentation and record-keeping: Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, contracts, shipping documents, and payments to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

9. Meeting sales targets: Working towards achieving individual and team sales goals by actively pursuing new business opportunities and maximizing revenue from existing customers.

10. Continuous learning: Staying updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance sales performance.

Educational Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional education or training in sales, business, or logistics is a plus.
Experience Requirements
We are looking for candidates with a proven track record in sales or customer service roles. The ideal candidate should have experience in building and maintaining client relationships, meeting sales targets, and negotiating deals. Experience in the auto transport industry or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.

$450 - $1,400 a week

Schedule: 8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
